The race for the number one seed in the NFL and the enviable bye could be concluded this week when the Ravens take on the Dolphins.
Baltimore is 12-3 while Miami is 11-4 and the repercussions of this week 17 clash is monumental.
The Dolphins boast the most potent attack in the league, led by offensive Maverick Mike McDaniel. On the other side the Ravens have been superb on defense and are a well drilled outfit, ked by head coach John Harbaugh.
Last season’s encounter was brutally epic with Miami winning 42-38, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa throwing for six touchdowns.
Tagovailoa will once again be pulling the strings and wide receiver Tyreek Hill should be a handful. The Dolphins are missing Jaylen Waddle due to an ankle injury.
The key to Baltimore will be their defense and they will look to do the same to Tagovailoa as they did to 49ers ace Brock Purdy, in their recent win against San Francisco.
Defensive coordinator Mike Mcdonald has built a mean machine with the league leading most sacks (53), takeaways (26) and a grinch-like average if only 4.5 yards given away per play.
