In the latest episode of her podcast, Hot Mess with Alix Earle, TikTok sensation Alix Earle disclosed receiving an apology from Sophia Culpo, the ex-girlfriend of Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios.
As per Alix, Culpo reached out to Earle to express remorse over accusations of initial infidelity.
“NFL man’s (Braxton Berrios’ nickname) ex comes out and starts talking her s— online, basically going along with this narrative that I was a homewrecker in their relationship,” recalled Earle.
The TikTok sensation expressed being upset about the online gossip and lamented the “girl-against-girl” nature of the situation, sharing that being labeled a “homewrecker” was particularly triggering given her family history. In 2008, Alix Earle’s father, Thomas Earle, engaged in an affair with Ashley Dupré, who has since become Earle’s stepmother.
Apparently, Sophia Culpo, in an attempt to make amends, messaged Earle on Instagram, extending an apology for the unwanted publicity.
To which, Earle responded diplomatically, saying:
“Appreciate you reaching out. It’s been hard on me being blamed for something I didn’t do. I hope we can all just move on.”

In June 2023, Culpo seemingly threw shade at Berrios and Earle in a now-deleted TikTok video, hinting at the end of love bombing.
The video was captioned “Give it a few but call me when the love bombing ends. I gotchu, Girltok, Narcredflag.”
Culpo later addressed the TikTok on Instagram, saying:
“I’m sorry the internet has their panties in a wad. It wasn’t that deep,” she said. “It wasn’t that deep. I’m literally getting texts from my friends like, ‘I’m thinking of you, are you doing okay?’ I’m good. I’m good. The internet is wild, but we’re good.”
Berrios, who previously dated Culpo for two years before their March breakup, faced accusations of Earle being the cause of their separation after the two were spotted together in May at a Miami restaurant.
Also, in June, Braxton Berrios released a statement on their separation, describing their relationship as initially “good” and “healthy” but acknowledged that things “weren’t working out” towards the end. He said that the split in January had nothing to do with anyone else.

FYI, while Berrios confirmed that he split with Culpo in January, the model did it in March.
