The race for the top draft pick in 2024 is looking likely to go to the Bears, having traded with the dismal Panthers.
The Panthers face the unpleasant task of playing the Jaguars in week 17, but a surprise win here and a loss by the Cardinals to the Eagles could complicate the race.
That would see both teams at three wins apiece going into week 18.
The Patriots could lose their next two and be the number one pick and they face a rampant Bills team which have quietly impressed and are potential Superbowl contenders.
The Commanders also only have four wins and back to back losses could mean a high draft. They play the 49ers this weekend, before wrapping up their season against the Cowboys.
There is plenty to play for, at the top of the conferences and seedings as well as trying to stay off the bottom, but kind of stay on it. The Bears will be anxiously watching the Panthers and Cardinals week 17 and 18 games.
