The NCAA football Pop-Tarts Bowl has recently drawn impressive viewership for the network, ESPN. The match took place between the Kansas State Wildcats and the NC State Wolfpack.

The Wildcats are 9-4 and defeated the Wolfpack 9-4 with a concluding score of 28-19. According to Sports Media Watch, the game averaged 4.3 million viewers.

The Pop-Tarts mascot and the game attracted the attention of millions and the network has seen one of the biggest viewerships in the history of the Bowl. The Thursday Night Football match was viewed by far more than in previous years.
The Pop-Tarts Bowl also surpassed the Alamo Bowl’s viewership, which averaged 3.93 million viewers. The Alamo Bowl saw the Arizona Wildcats beat the Oklahoma Sooners with a concluding score of 24-38.
The other game, which averaged a viewership of 561,000 viewers, was the NBA game between the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics. The Pistons lost the match by a score of 122-128 to the Celtics.
