Just a season past, the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Super Bowl, making them a solid 10-1 while opening this new season.
However, the breezy start of 2024 saw the rise of numerous clouds of doubt surrounding the team’s head coach, Nick Sirianni, and his future with the Eagles.
Indeed, when the team bouts with four losses in five matches one after another, unfortunately, fan sentiments stir up, and questions raise.
The Eagles’ consistent downward spiral has instigated an urgent need for a strong hand on the helm.
However, their defensive play seems to have weakened even after Sirianni changed the defensive play callers, causing further problems.
During a recent appearance on WIP Tuesday, Head Coach Sirianni was confronted with the critical question – has he lost control over the team? His answer was rather positive and confident as he shrugged off the question stating he’s “not concerned” about such issues.
Being the head coach, indeed, his primary focus lies in righting the ship and leading the team back to its winning form.
“No, I don’t think about those things,” Sirianni said. “I try to stay where we are right now. How we play good football this week against the Giants, how do we fix some of the things that we got going on right now. That’s where my focus is and that’s where I’ll be obviously the rest of this week.”

Over the years, many teams have shown resilience in the face of defeat and emerged stronger.
The Eagles, too, have previously recovered their feet after encountering similar rough patches.
Being in the playoffs, the Eagles would definitely strategize and prepare to make a big comeback.
