Week 18 of the NFL can be a strenuous, tenuous and nervous time for teams, but not for the Browns.
Cleveland’s final matchup against the Bengals will have no significance to their number five seeding in the AFC, while Cincinnati wraps up their losing campaign.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has the luxury of resting all of his big guns.
“You’re just trying to make what’s in the best interest of your football team, whether you play your guys, rest your guys, and as you know, you can’t rest everybody,” Stefanski told Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
“There are roster limitations to that. We took care of business last week, but we have to finish strong. That’s our mentality, that’s what we’re trying to do.”
One position that may not change is at quarterback with Joe Flacco I’m good form but needing every second of experience and confidence.
Whether he will start remains to be seen, but regardless it is a great time to be a Cleveland fan. Enjoy week 18, some new faces and some flexing ahead if the playoffs.
