Nick Saban, the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide, recently lost a crucial match to the Michigan Wolverines and his coping mechanism for the loss was recently revealed.
Saban has a distinguished personality and has won several accolades in his long-standing career. He has won seven National Championships, eleven Southeastern Championships, one Mid-American Conference title, and 12 SEC Western Division titles.
Saban was also the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2005–2006 and of Michigan State University, Louisiana State University, and University of Toledo.
The Wolverines defeated Alabama in overtime in the college football playoff semifinal. The matchup was pivotal for both teams. However, after suffering the loss, Mrs. Terry, the wife of Nick Saban, shared that the two would indulge in watching a foreign movie instead of watching any further games.
According to USA Today, the answers given by the couple were, “Terry Saban: “Do you want to watch the other football game?’’
Nick Saban: “Not really.’’
Terry Saban: “OK, let’s watch Netflix.’’
Mrs. Terry explained they had been watching a foreign movie, stating, “It’s Turkish or something. It completely gets your mind off of (the defeat).”
His next season plans were not disclosed and when the question of how coach Saban was doing after the loss was put up, Mrs. Terry answered, “Fifty-two years of doing it, we’ve experienced it before, right? And you try to find the silver lining to teach other players for the next time.”
