The Bengals match up against the playoff bound Browns this weekend will have no bearing, but Cincinnati will he desperate for a win.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor believes there is plenty at stake, with the team not going winless in the divison for two decades.
“Our No. 1 objective is to win this game by any means necessary. However, that looks is however it looks,” Taylor said.
“The fans that have continued to support us and cheer for this team and put their heart and soul into supporting us, get a chance to watch us play hard in a home game and find a way to win.”
The 8-8 Bengals have a chance for a winning season and will be looking to create a platform for next season.
Taylor knows a coach with a winning record is hardly ever fired, while players have contracts and bonuses to play for, and of course the Cincinnati fans.
Defensive end Sam Hubbard epitomizes the spirit in the camp saying he needs surgery but will delay it until after the matchup against Cleveland.
