Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin has probably made the boldest yet oddest call in his broadcast career on the latest episode of Undisputed.
Irvin compared Washington Huskies Michael Phenix JR to Michael Vick.
The only thing the trio share is a first name.
Vick played for Virginia Tech, the Falcons and the Eagles and was the most donating running quarterback of all time.
Phenix is a great lone caller and passer but he ain’t no running QB making Irvin’s claim that much more absurd.
“The way that other touchdown came out, that reminds you of Michael Vick,” Irvin said. “Remember how the ball used to jump off of Michael Vick’s hands? That reminds me of Michael Vick right there.”
This could have been the first game the former Dallas legend has seen, as Phenix led his team to a 34-31 win over Oregon on Monday night.
The Huskies will take on Michigan in the CFP game next Tuesday as the number one and two ranked teams go head-to-head.
Irvin believes the Washington star will be drafted higher than his projection.
But social media fans lambasted Irvin, with Vick averaging 61.5 yards per game in his redshirt year at Virginia.
