On January 8, 2024, New York Jets star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, addressed the media, revealing his intention to break his silence on the Jimmy Kimmel-Jerry Epstein controversy.
This controversy was ignited by Rodgers himself during last week’s appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Rodgers announced that he plans to share his perspective on the matter during the upcoming episode of “The Pat McAfee Show” scheduled for Tuesday.
“I’m going to talk about it tomorrow on the show. Tune in,” Rodgers conveyed.

During the previous week’s show, co-host A.J. Hawk encouraged Rodgers to discuss the potential release of court documents related to disgraced financier Jerry Epstein.
In response, the Jets Quarterback stated, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel who are hoping that doesn’t come out … if that list comes out, I will definitely be popping some sort of bottles.”
Following this revelation, Jimmy Kimmel took to X, formerly Twitter to blast Rodgers in scathing critique and asserted that he never had any contact with Jerry Epstein.
“Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court, ” wrote Jimmy Kimmel.

Recently released legal documents from a civil lawsuit connected to the notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein, dated January 3, do not reference comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
The documents are part of a lawsuit following the arrest of Jerry Epstein on July 6, 2019, who later died in a New York jail while facing sex trafficking charges.
On a recent episode of his late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel talked about his ongoing disagreement with Aaron Rodgers. He made it clear that his name wasn’t connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s list, which was the source of the dispute. Kimmel denied Rodgers’ claims and said he’s open to sorting things out in court.
He emphasized how serious accusations from someone like Rodgers, who’s in the public eye, can be harmful.
Kimmel also pointed out what he sees as Rodgers being too full of himself, thinking he knows a lot about science and immunology. He jokingly called this behavior the Dunning Kruger effect, where people with limited knowledge think they’re experts.
While Kimmel acknowledged Rodgers’ right to his opinion, he drew a line at accusing someone of being a pedophile, calling it more than just expressing an opinion or trash talk.
Kimmel doesn’t expect an apology from Rodgers but said he’d be okay with one if it happens. He wants to move past the disagreement and stresses the importance of keeping discussions civil even when there are differences.
