“I’m the most boring person that anyone has ever met in their life” – CBS commentator Charles Davis tells Ian Eagle during Eagles vs Giants game

Ian Eagle and commenting cohort Charles Davis have a wonderful chemistry and this was in evidence when the duo was calling the week 18 game between the Giants and Philadelphia.

The Giants won the game 27-10 against the playoff bound but fading Eagles team.

With the match meandering to a timid end the pair started riffing and Davis admitted to Eagles he is the most boring person alive. The self-deprecating Davis and the extrovert Eagles were an auditory delight and while Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be calling a playoff game for CBS the pair showed real promise.

“I’ve gotta tell ya, Ian — I’m the most boring person that anyone has ever met in their life,” Davis said.

Eagle pressed for more details, especially if Davis reads more than he should and is the guy at the party that everyone goes to for stats.

“You know, stuff comes up, and I want to be that guy,” added Davis. “I want to be the guy — when they have a question about it, I am their lifeline, Okay? Because I got nothing else.”

The contrasting styles of the CBS commentators was top notch.
