Jimmy Kimmel didn"t pull any punches in his first show of the new year, responding to Aaron Rodgers" recent comments on “The Pat McAfee Show" where the Jets quarterback hinted at Kimmel"s name being linked to Jeffrey Epstein documents. Kimmel devoted a roughly seven-minute monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live" to mock Rodgers and challenge him to apologize for the controversy he stirred.
Referring to Rodgers" Epstein comments, Kimmel highlighted the absurdity of the situation, noting that some people genuinely believe in conspiracy theories involving him meeting Tom Hanks and Oprah to consume pizza and children"s blood. He speculated whether Rodgers truly believed his own words or if it was retaliation for Kimmel"s jabs at his top knot and vaccination status.

Kimmel criticized Rodgers" high opinion of himself, attributing it to his success on the football field. The late-night host humorously pointed out Rodgers" alleged self-perceived intelligence during the COVID-19 pandemic and joked about the quarterback"s academic prowess, suggesting he excelled only in spelling his own name.
While acknowledging Rodgers" right to have opinions, Kimmel drew the line at what he deemed as making up lies, rejecting the notion that accusing someone of being a pedophile constitutes mere trash talk. Kimmel expressed his readiness to accept an apology if Rodgers were to offer one but expressed skepticism about the likelihood of it happening.
Rodgers, on the other hand, is delaying his response until his appearance on McAfee"s show on Tuesday, avoiding the topic during his Jets media availability. The ongoing feud between Kimmel and Rodgers, sparked by Kimmel"s comments on the quarterback"s vaccination status in 2021, escalated recently with Rodgers hinting at Kimmel"s involvement in Epstein-related documents. Kimmel promptly responded with a threat of legal action, emphasizing that his name had never appeared in any such documents.
