WATCH: Jim Harbaugh deftly dodges Gatorade shower after Michigan wins National Championship over Washington

After claiming championship glory on Monday night, Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh tried to make sure he was excited about his team’s previous victory.

Harbaugh enjoyed a traditional Gatorade shower in the final seconds of college football’s 34-13 win over No. 2 Washington Huskies to give Michigan its first championship in 26 years big playoff win.

Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is known for avoiding Gatorade baths, and he did so again after Monday night’s loss to the Washington Huskies at NRG Stadium, but he didn’t complete the game twice.

Harbaugh, 60, was talking to a player on the sideline toward the end of the fourth quarter and jumped when Michigan’s star tried dousing him with Gatorade.

The player Harbaugh was talking to ended up drinking all the Gatorade, and his coach was running around laughing.

On a night filled with emotional drama, Harbaugh’s move could leave the impressive coach and UM alum as one of the last examples of the CFP keeping its head above water.

It wasn’t exactly a dry night for the head coach, as the Wolverines ended up dousing Harbaugh with Gatorade after the postgame interview to show proper appreciation.

Before raising the trophy, Harbaugh took the stage and spoke briefly to the crowd, but not before donning a pair of cool sunglasses.

Social media loved Harbaugh’s humorous side, which is rare.

Harbaugh now faces the dilemma of whether to stay at Michigan or return to the NFL, where several teams are eager to find the right head coach.
