Jack Nicklaus, the Golf legend, on Wednesday appeared on “Golf Central” and talked on a series of topics, including the phenomenal Tiger Woods.

Nicknamed as the Golden Bear, Nicklaus has a record of 18 major titles, including the 73X PGA Tour champ. Commenting on Woods, he believes at the age of 48 Woods is capable of achieving greater heights even after all the injuries, capable of “doing anything he wants to do.”

Nicklaus is also strongly heartful to watch him back after injuries and competing, called Woods a “great addition” to the PGA Tour’s policy board.

However, the legend does not believe Woods would probably overtake his tally of 18 major victories, referring to his current health situation.

Nicklaus said,

“If he remained healthy, I think he would’ve gotten it, but he didn’t remain healthy. Feel bad for him.”

Commenting on his records, he said,

“Oh, I think it will probably stand for a while.”

Expecting Woods will add another competitive chapter in a couple of years, and said,

“I think Tiger will play the senior tour. He’d be able to get in a cart, and he’ll absolutely kill everybody.”

Woods, the 15-time major champion, finished even par and 18th out of 20 players in the unofficial PGA Tour event.

With two more years left for the Hall of Famer to start his senior pro career, it represents as two more seasons of majors and an ample amount chance to beat Nicklaus’s record.

In another major update of Wood’s career, Nike has called time and ended their 27-year commercial partnership.
