The College Football Playoff finals between the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies attracted 25 million viewers and they reached their peak at 28 million, according to network giant ESPN.

The finale became the most-viewed title game in the past four years. The other most-watched National Championship game was LSU’s win over Clemson, which was watched by 25.59 million.
The viewership significantly increased from last year’s National Championship game, which was between the Georgia Bulldogs and the TCU Horned Frogs and its viewership count was 17.223 million.
The Rose Bowl game played between the Michigan Wolverines and Alabama Crimson Tide averaged 27.2 million viewers. In addition to incredible numbers, the Michigan Wolverines have participated in the final three games of the season and have received the highest viewership.
