Kelce was coming off a rough season, making him the favorite as the Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-23 on a Sunday.
Kelce was tackled by Cowboys linebacker Damone Clark late in the second quarter, prompting Kelce to yell at Clark like he was crazy.
The Eagles tied the score at 14 before halftime, and Kelce broke out. Kelce, who was the heart and soul of the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years, celebrated his 36th birthday on Sunday.
Kelce can talk about his new challenge on his podcast “Next Levels with Jason and Travis Kelce,” which airs every Wednesday.
The Eagles were 8-1, two losses better than all other NFL teams. Jason Kelce doesn’t care if NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell decides to ban the “push” game.
In the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which aired Wednesday, the Eagles quarterback explained why he won’t waste energy worrying about the future of Philadelphia’s ownership fraternity after The Athletic reported Goodell wants to join.
Now, I don’t care. I’m done,” Jason said of the cart, where the center rear is pushed forward while driving. I don’t think this is an important part.
“I can’t control it. Be careful if it gets canceled or not.”
“I don’t think there’s any point in complaining. Jason’s brother, podcast host Travis Kelce of the Chiefs, agreed.”
“I think you’re right,”
Travis said.
Jason, 36, also explained that he did not believe injuries and competitive advantage were “sufficient reasons” to cancel the fight.
“If it’s for health reasons, I don’t think many people would get hurt doing that,” he says.
Jason speculated about how the tush push would eventually be banned because
“Especially a lot of defensive coaches don’t want to defend it.”
Via @LauraOkmin, Jason Kelce had a specific three-word catch phrase that he'd utter during each tush push: "F–k my life!" https://t.co/QG7lZaNaT1

“As soon as the commissioners’ start talking about it and saying they want to get it done, folks, it will get done,”
Travis said.
According to The Athletic, Tash’s promotion is likely to be a hot topic among the competition committee, which is made up of owners, general managers and coaches.
The Athletic noted that no one from the Eagles organization was represented on the committee.
It wasn’t the prettiest win for the Eagles, but it gave them an 11-4 record on the season, tied with the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions for the best record in the NFC.
Things got a little heated early in the game, with Kelce and several Giants players having trouble after Jaylen was injured on a pass in the first quarter.
The Eagles center was visibly emotional after the game and looked like he was ready to face anyone who was in trouble. The Eagles begin their final two games of the season next Sunday at home against the Arizona Cardinals.
Philadelphia heads to New York at the Meadowlands to end the regular season. The conference’s top seed is in the mix, but the Hawks need to finish the regular season strong to earn a spot in the first round.
There’s only one thing stopping the Philadelphia Eagles from rising. Jason Kelce was the culprit on Monday night. Kelce’s layups made a big impact on the Eagles’ streak.
The Eagles All-Pro center moved the football early in the game and was called for a score as the Eagles went on a 7-0 run in the second quarter, hitting a third and 1 from the Seattle Seahawks’ 3. Contest. List of pages. Kelce did the one thing he couldn’t do and got caught.
“Obviously the false start in the red zone cost me a lot,”
Kelce said in a team memo.
Moving the ball forward is nothing new to Kelce, who admitted he has done it in the past and has been notified by officials about the offense.
“They’ve been warning me about this for years,”
Kelce said. “I think when you’re trying to move forward, I’m a little bit different from doing that before, so they’ve warned me before. I think I need to be stronger, especially in this situation.

I think if it was a one yard increase it probably wouldn’t be much, but since it was so short, it called the one I moved. Kelce won’t be moving forward in football, which is automatic for the Eagles and Jalen Hurts. The penalty cost Philadelphia four points.
“As a veteran, your job is obviously to keep pushing and working and keeping the guys focused on preparing and getting better and blocking out a lot of things from the outside,”
Kelce said.
Opponents fear him, Philadelphia fans love him.

This is tough. It’s very difficult to lose this match. “There are a lot of influences involved.
Fans had this to say:
Makes sense why he was on the field for so long after the game talking to players and fans.

The tush push retired Jason Kelce. Dude was over that shit.

Six-time All-Pro and future Hall-of-Fame center Jason Kelce told his Eagles’ teammates in Monday night’s postgame locker room that he is in fact retiring, per league sources.

Jason Kelce has elevated the game of football and the awareness of just how awesome Offensive Lineman are. He is a Hall of Famer on the field and off it he is a STAR. Congrats on retirement my brother, you gave the game everything you had. pic.twitter.com/pgJfpHncn6

He looks fuckin awesome with it and is one of the best in his position so 🤷🤷
— Jimmy King (@Jimmyking35) December 26, 2023
He's 36 years old and his team just broke a 3-game losing streak by barely beating a bad Giants team at home with two backup QB's. Literally no NFL players fear him.

good thing both the Kelce's found football as an outlet, keeping them out of anger management classes … 😬😂

He's the only Eagles player that I could even stand being around. (if I had to.) ☺️🤣
— Debbie Myers (@fanCowboys1967) December 27, 2023
Other team’s players, call him dirty! He is simply diving at opponents knees!!
— CJ (@carl10ball) December 26, 2023
he's just as attention-seeking and irritating as his brother, he is just SLIGHTLY less obnoxious so he's a bit more tolerable…..i guess
— Len Kabasinski (@killerwolffilms) December 26, 2023
I like Kelce but he got up and walked away (which is the smart thing to do). Giants players didn't exactly get out of the way. He's a high caliber center and seems like a decent guy, but not so sure they are afraid of him
— Eric Cohen (@FramCire) December 26, 2023
Ok, what did he do that was so fearsome or amazing? Lol, looks to me like a couple guys got in his way and he freaked out probably saying something like “my brother f*cks T Swift, get outta my way” ???? Dude was irrelevant until last year.
