The College coaching treadmill is already throwing nixes messages down Colorado Boulder way, with Warren Sapp joining the team, or not.
Colorado spokesperson Steve Hurlbert told the media that there had been no conversation of Sapp joining Coach Prime’s coaching team.
Deion Sanders had already indicated that Sapp would definitely be joining the Buffaloes in the new season.
“There have been no conversations about hiring Warren Sapp for an assistant coach position at the University of Colorado,” Hurlbert told Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today. I can’t wait to see him on a daily basis,” Sanders told Eisen.
The matter is complicated, aren’t they all, with Sapp’s 2015 arrest in connection with assaulting a prostitute.
The test of wills between the school and Sanders will be interesting as Prime said, “it better happen”.
