Iowa vs. Indiana Women’s Basketball Thriller Sets New Record as FOX’s Third-Highest Viewed Game in Women’s Basketball History

The NCAA women’s basketball match between the No. 2 Iowa Hawkeyes and the No. 16 Indiana Hoosiers has reportedly drawn millions of viewers and has come in the top spots. 

According to Front Office Sports, “Iowa-Indiana drew 1.043 million viewers on Saturday — Fox’s 3rd-largest TV audience in women’s basketball history.”

The match was watched by 1,043,000 viewers, which subsequently became the Fox network’s third-most-watched game in the history of women’s basketball. Iowa is standing in the season with a score of 17-1 and defeated Indiana with a concluding score of 84-57. Indiana’s season currently stands at 14-2.

However, ignoring the chilled temperature, the fans collected to watch the game. The Carver-Hawkeye Arena saw 14,998 spectators come in to watch the incredible game. 

Caitlin Clark of Iowa was the star of the match, posting 30 points, 11 assists, and 5 rebounds. Iowa in the next game will face the Ohio State Buckeyes, while Indiana will headlock with the Wisconsin Badgers.
