The Toronto Raptors are undergoing significant changes and Pascal Siakam, who was one of the members with whom the Raptors won the championship, has been traded to the Indiana Pacers.

In return, the Raptors got “Bruce Brown Jr. and Kira Lewis Jr., forward Jordan Nwora, two first-round picks in 2024, and a conditional first-round pick in 2026.” The structure rebuilding of the Raptors is currently going on and Brown might not remain with them for a longer period as he is garnering attention from the New York Knicks.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, “BREAKING: The Indiana Pacers are finalizing a trade to acquire All-Star F Pascal Siakam in a deal that will send Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and three first-round picks to the Toronto Raptors. New Orleans will be a third team in deal, sending Kira Lewis to the Raptors.”

According to Ian Begley of SNY, the New York Knicks are expressing their interest in making another trade deal with the Toronto Raptors and that deal might include Brown. Brown assisted and was a crucial part of the Denver Nuggets and later they went on to win the 2023 NBA Championship.

According to Clutch Points, Ian Begley shares, “I was told there is some internal interest in going after Bruce Brown from the Knicks as far as a trade candidate here. Obviously, the Knicks had strong interest in Brown as a free agent. The Knicks were actually his first meeting. Now, Brown going to Toronto, he might be available. There are some people with the Knicks that would love to bring him on ahead of the trade deadline.”

Brown plays both guard positions and small forward position and has the ability to create plays. His skills enable him to manage the ball efficiently, which subsequently gives him the capacity to manage great shots.

His excellent prowess was demonstrated by him through his time spent with the Denver Nuggets and the Indiana Pacers. Brown has also significantly contributed to the scoreline and is a strong entity when it comes to defense.

The New York Knicks are standing in the season with a score of 24-17 and in the Eastern Conference, they are in fifth place. With Brown’s prowess, he can fit amicably with the impressive duo of the Knicks, Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle.

Brown’s average this season is 12.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game and his shooting percentage from the field is 47.5 percent. The Knicks are moving prominently in the season and Brown would strengthen their lineup if the trade moves further.
