While this was no Andy Kaufman and Jerry the King Lawler feud, it did get tasty on a live broadcast on the Seven Network, Sunrise Show in Australia with WWE star Grayson Waller not a happy wrestler.
Sunrise host Natalie Barr asked tag team partner LA Knight to perform his finishing move, the BFT, demonstrating it on a floor manager but the moment was deemed disrespectful by Waller, after he was handed the question by Knight, who deftly side-stepped the request.
“I don’t think you understand, if I come over there right now, we’re going to have the police here because I’m not going to give you some punch. I’m going to punch you straight in the jaw,” Waller said.
This is not the first time a wrestler and the media have butted heads, with the likes of John Stossel and Richard Belzer.
Stossel was smacked right in the jaw by “Dr. D,” David Schultz when doing a 20/20 report while Belzer was choked out, by Hulk Hogan.
