Giants reportedly gave away Mickey Mouse ears to fans for upcoming Dodgers game

According to Dodgers Nation, the Giants will be giving away 15,000 Mickey Mouse headphones on June 30 at Oracle Park. Los Angeles won the World Series in 2020, when the MLB season was shortened to 60 games and the postseason format was completely overhauled due to COVID-19.

Many have nicknamed the Dodgers “Mickey Mouse” for one-and-a-half reasons. The term comes from the NBA championship earlier that year, when the Los Angeles Lakers team won the title during the coronavirus quarantine at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Technically, the Giants gave Mickey Mouse ears because June 30th is Disneyland Day at Oracle Park, but the many traditions will not be lost on Dodgers haters and their followers. When the Giants face the Dodgers on June 30, the first 15,000 fans will receive Mickey Mouse ears, a promotional gift full of gifts.

The term “Mickey Mouse Ring” is being used to mock the 2019-2020 Los Angeles Lakers, who won the championship in the COVID-19 “bubble” at Walt Disney World in Florida and thought that the title “Mickey Mouse” is not. The title is “Mickey Mouse Ring”. It doesn’t count.

This is the only championship the Rangers have won in the last 35 years, and if you listen to the most venomous Giants fans, this 60-game streak (the equivalent of a third of the number) has no followers. -Global locations are not a problem.

June 30th is known as “Disneyland Day” at Oracle Park, and it’s a coincidence that Mickey Ears were released the day the Dodgers came to town. (Though, according to Noah Capras of Dodgers Nation, it’s better for the Giants to have a Disneyland day when they play the Angels, since the Angels’ home is like Disneyland. This is also in Anaheim Park, and it used to be owned by Disney.)

Even though the Dodgers have been regular season winners for more than a decade, they have shown signs of weakness in the postseason.

The San Francisco Giants will shock the Los Angeles Dodgers to victory in the 2020 World Series in their game on June 30 as part of “Disneyland Day” and fans will be treated to Mickey Mouse ears. It’s rare for a division rival to celebrate the other team’s accomplishments, especially given how successful the Giants have been in winning the World Series over the past decade.

The Giants have struggled against the dominant Dodgers in recent years, losing 11 of their last 12 division titles and missing out on a playoff appearance in 2021. For the San Francisco Giants, their next game is against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 30 and revealed a surprise: The Dodgers won the 2020 World Series.

This is surprising since the Giants have won three World Series titles in the last ten years (2010, 2012 and 2014). Being a fan in San Francisco has been tough in recent years as the Dodgers have dominated the division, winning 11 of the last 12 division titles.

The Dodgers have a 96-79 record against the Giants since 2014, including the 2021 matchup between the two teams. The Dodgers won the National League Division Series (NLDS) with two losses in three. This offseason, San Francisco lost Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, both of whom decided to join the team in Los Angeles even though the Giants were reportedly interested in the team over other free agents.
