Davidson showcased a commendable performance where she shot at one-over-73 thereby finishing the tournament with a cumulative score of +4.
This victory marks an end to her winless streak stretching almost three years, adding to her already impressive and growing golf resume.
What made the win even more compelling was the comeback narrative. Davidson was trailing by three shots following the 16th hole.
“I had come so close lately with a playoff loss 3 starts ago to then finishing one back last week but this is why you never give up no matter where you think you are at in a tournament!” Davidson wrote on Instagram. “It’s never over until that last putt goes in on 18 so push till the end!”

RIP women's sports.

As part of Davidson’s rewards for the victory along with the trophy, she has now gained increased odds of being a part of the qualifying tour.
This adds to her burgeoning list of accomplishments and takes her one step closer to fulfilling her aspiration of participating in the LPGA.
Adding more feathers to her cap, Davidson, alongside the top five performers from the tournament, has earned two exemptions for the Epson Tour.
This increases the chance to make her mark in further sporting events and secure higher rankings.
Davidson, who last participated in a qualifying school stage in 2015, undertook the task of transitioning in 2021.
She has since bravely ventured to assert her stake in women’s golf. The LPGA Tour has, remarkably, been supportive of golfers who identify as females despite not being assigned female at birth.
LPGA demonstrated great receptivity and inclusion when rules were amended in 2010 to allow transgender athletes to compete.
