Another team that is eyeing trade prospects is the Washington Wizards and their trade would be regarding the NBA champion of 2020, Kyle Kuzma. According to Marc Stein via NBACentral, “The Wizards, sources say, want at least two first-round picks for Kuzma. And the implication is they will be seeking higher quality picks than Toronto received from Indiana in the Siakam trade; two of the three future first-rounders sent to the Raptors by Indiana are from the oft-maligned 2024 draft this June.”
According to SI, one of the teams looking for a talented power forward is the Dallas Mavericks, who are searching to upgrade their current lineup. They are further considering prospects and Kuzma of the Wizards is among their searches.
Stein further shared, “The Mavericks, league sources say, are among the teams that have inquired with Washington about its willingness to part with forward Kyle Kuzma.”
The Dallas Mavericks, as per Marc Stein, are one of the clubs that have contacted the Washington Wizards about a potential deal before the trade deadline. The Wizards are asking for two first-round picks in the exchange.
His average is 21.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists and with the Wizards, he has a four-year $90 million contract. Stein further shared, “The Mavericks also know that the Wizards’ determination to acquire as many future firsts as possible is not going away; sources say Washington established considerable asking prices months ago when Dallas made past inquiries on the in-demand Gafford as well as Deni Avdija”.
