The Buffalo Bills’ fight to clinch the Super Bowl came to an end at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. The concluding score after the fourth quarter of the divisional round matchup came to be 24-27.
The loss was heartbreaking for the Bills, understandably, but the squad’s league-thrice record-setter and two-time Pro Bowl quarterback, Josh Allen, wanted their defensive coordinator to stay for the upcoming season as well.
The Broyles Award recipient, Joe Brady, was with the Carolina Panthers as their offensive coordinator from 2020 to 2021. He then joined the Bills squad in 2002 as their quarterback coach. He is currently their quarterback coach as well as their interim offensive coordinator.
During the last season, head coach Sean McDermott and the Bills decided to let go of Ken Dorsey, who was their offensive coordinator. Moving forward, it is not yet clear whether Brady will retain his position or whether the Bills will move on with other options.
Regarding this matter, Allen expressed his opinions and said via Pro Football Talk, “I would fully embrace it. I love Joe. I love what he brings to this team, to our offense, the juice that he has, the passion that he has for football. How much preparation he’s put into a tough situation these last seven to eight weeks. Yeah, I would fully embrace it. And obviously there’s stuff that needs to go on before that, and I understand there’s probably an interview process and all that, but he’s got my vote.”
