Travis Kelce Eyes Jerry Rice’s Postseason Catch Record: Just 6 Receptions Away from Historic Milestone

The two-time Super Bowl champion and league record achiever, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, might tie with Jerry Rice, the legendary wide receiver’s record of catches in the postseason. 

Rice is one of the most prominent former wide receivers in the league, has won many prominent accolades and has set multiple records in his active years throughout his career. 

He played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1958 to 2000. Then, after the 49ers, Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Rice joined three more teams which were the Oakland Raiders, now known as the Las Vegas Raiders, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Denver Broncos. With the Broncos, he concluded his incredible career. 

However, Kelce has caught 145 passes in the playoffs in his active career till now and with six more catches accumulated, he will tie the record and with more, he will surpass Jerry’s all-time NFL record. Jerry had retired after setting the record for postseason catches at 151.
