“We’d absolutely love to have Joe back,” – Browns GM Andrew Berry keen to sign QB Joe Flacco for upcoming season

The Cleveland Browns made a decent charge towards a divisional title this season, and the contribution of quarterback Joe Flacco played a large part in their success.

The Texans put the Browns to the sword in the wildcard round but there are more positives than negatives in Cleveland.

Flacco at 39 is something of a Cinderella story, coming into an injury plagued side, off the couch as they say, and provided magic in the regular season run in.

He threw for three hundred plus yards in 4 successive games, the longest streak in the team’s history and the eldest QB to do that since Tom Brady.

“We’d absolutely love to have Joe back, he’s a good quarterback,” Browns GM Andrew Berry said Monday.

“I guess maybe a little bit similar to Jacoby (Brissett) last year. It depends, right? I want to bring all of our good players back, but there are constraints to that. … Would have no problem having Joe back.”

Flacco deserves to sign a contract with the Browns, even if it is only for a year.

The Browns need some more sprinkle dust, don’t we all?
