The three-time NBA Finals MVP and four-time NBA champion, legendary player Shaquille O’Neal, has recently revealed that we would partner with Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks over Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors during times when pressure mounts on the court.

According to Fadeaway World, Shaq expressed, “I hate to even answer this question. … Steph is the best shooter but ‘Dame Time’ is clutch at that shot. Damn! I’mma have to go with Dame Lillard.”
“Steph Curry is the best shooter and I think he hits more of those shots moving. I’ve seen Dame hit a lot of standstill shots or get in just one position. I think playing with me, he’d be able to catch it, step into the shot, and hit it. With Steph Curry, I think he gets better rhythm with dribbling.”
However, Shaq has acknowledged that the nine-time NBA All-Star and four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry is the best shooter but he also highlighted Lillard’s ability to score big shots.
He noted that while Curry is incredibly known for his shooting prowess, however, Lillard’s ability to make clutch plays under strain and make successful shots is what makes Shaq choose Lillard in his imaginary scenario.
The legend further clarifies that the seven-time NBA All-Star Lillard has proven that he can make big shots while being in a standstill position as Curry performs his incredible shots while moving through the court.
Shaq is renowned for his direct observations and also shared that it was tough to answer such questions. He further clarified that his preference for Lillard over Curry doesn’t shake the fact that Curry is one of the most prominent shooters in the league.
Shaq complimented Curry’s extraordinary ability to make incredibly difficult points with his highly built shooting prowess. While choosing for this hypothetical situation he shared that situational factors and individual preferences come into play importantly as well.
Shaq also adores Curry over all players and has chosen the Warriors’ talent while counting important players as well.
