The National Football League (NFL) has made a resounding announcement; it will host the International NFL Flag Championships.

This international event is staged to occur during the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, with events taking place from February 2-3.

The International NFL Flag Championships will present an exciting opportunity for young athletes from twelve countries.

They will not only prove their on-field prowess but also connect with a broader athletic community.

The international teams will feature U12 boys and girls from Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Ghana, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and the U.K.

This year, flag football has gained even more international traction as Canada fields a team for the first time.

Team Canada will compete against U.S. U12 flag football teams in the National NFL Flag Championship.

This comes after their triumphant victory during the 2023 NFL Flag International Division.

Like their fellow international teams, the Canadian team achieved this position through their domestic tournament’s win.

Recognizing this international growth, the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games has included flag football in its roster of events.

Supported by the NFL and driven by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games promise to be an illustrious event, highlighting flag football. The Games will televise a blend of live and pre-recorded skills competitions all weekend.

The grand finale, the flag football game featuring the NFL’s top players, will take place on Sunday, February 4.

All the international flag football teams will witness the AFC and NFC stars play the sport live.
