The Los Angeles Lakers were standing ninth in the Western Conference and recently defeated the Golden State Warriors with a concluding score of 144-145. The Warriors are 19-24 in the season and in the same conference, they are standing in the twelfth spot.
One of the names in the Lakers squad who has been surrounded by trade rumours has been D’Angelo Russell. The NBA All-Star has recently given impressive performances through the games.
Against the Warriors squad, he scored 28 points, three rebounds, five assists, one block, and two steals. Russell has been surrounded in trade talks throughout his career as well. He was selected in the 2015 NBA Draft in the first round as the second overall pick.
He was picked up by the Los Angeles Lakers and was with them from 2015 to 2017. He then went on to join the Brooklyn Nets from 2017 to 2019. Russell also played for the Warriors from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, he was with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, once again, he has joined the Lakers squad.
