Boston radio hosts Andy Gresh and Christian Fauria chatted about one of the hottest broadcast topics trending at the moment.
The pair, talking on their Gresh and Fauria mid-day radio show took on the onerous task of discussing whether Tom Brady will have the knuckles to handle being the FOX number 1, ahead of Greg Olsen.
Brady announced he would be the new number one, and Fauria, a former NFL player, took the side of disagreeing with veteran Fox analyst Terry Bradshaw’s recent comments on a podcast that “America’s gonna like him. They’re going to love him No. 1, just because he is Tom Brady.”
Fauria said, “What I disagree with is what Terry Bradshaw said, that everyone is going to love him, I don’t think so at all. I think the love affair right now is Greg Olsen. The accolades and the praise is going to Greg Olsen … no one can stop praising him. He’s likable, he’s lovable.”
Gresh countered with “I don’t think so at all. Greg Olsen is a nice broadcaster, he’s good at the role, but c’mon now, it’s Tom Brady we are talking about”.
Gresh further said, “He is going to be better than (Tony) Romo right away and people will quickly forget about Greg Olsen. Again, it’s Tom Brady. Plus, he’s beautiful.”
Can Brady live up to the hype, well word has it he is super prepped and if we know Tom, he is America’s sweetheart.
