“If you look it up in the Bible, it’s a sin”: Newsmax host slams “idolatry” following of Taylor Swift as popstar grabs eyeballs over relationship with Travis Kelce

Newsmax host Greg Kelly said Monday that what Taylor Swift fans want is idolatry and therefore a crime. Kelly performed a segment for the singer-songwriter following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl final victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, had a great game and they celebrated with a big kiss. But Kelly has a strong desire to attack Swift’s fans by insulting her faith.

“I believe this is akin to idolatry. In fact, if you look at the Bible, it is a sin! So, I don’t like it.”

Kelly said she “left her new boyfriend” and called their relationship “just a rumor.”

“She’s going to use all this popularity against MAGA and for the Democratic Party,”

Kelly said.

“She has a track record, a track record for doing this.”

To support his statement, he showed a picture of Swift endorsing Biden in 2020.

Kelly may be referring to a far-right theory that says Swift will be taken as a Pentagon asset.

“So Swift is first for a secret political agenda?”

Fox News host Jesse Watters questioned the spread of the concept earlier this month.

Not to be outdone, Kelly dragged Kelce into the fray, saying he and Swift would win Biden’s endorsement “in real time.” Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy also took on a wild campaign. Kelly couldn’t stop the flames of suspicion against Swift.

Newsmax host Greg Kelly joined the pile of Taylor Swift defenders Monday night, saying it’s wrong to “idolize” the pop star because it’s “a sin.”

Swift was back in the news when she traveled to the AFC Championship Game in Baltimore to watch with teammate Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Ravens 17-10 to clinch a spot in the Super Bowl.

The Swift/Kelce story arc angers some critics, especially those on the Internet. That’s because Swift is a successful young woman who endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, and Kelce is an advocate for Pfizer and the Covid-19 vaccine.

On Monday’s Greg Kelly Report, the host said that while he likes some of Swift’s music, he doesn’t like “the Taylor Swift stuff.” He then shared a photo of himself standing on the concert stage: Have you seen photos of his concerts? I don’t do that.

“I think what they’re saying is that they raised him as an idol. It feels a bit like idolatry to me. In fact, if you look at the Bible, it is a sin! Well, I don’t like it. Kelly added that he considered it a “public nuisance” before suggesting the Biden campaign promoted the pair before accepting the presidential nomination. She has a history of these things, a long history,”

he said before playing a video of Swift endorsing Biden in 2020.

“If he doesn’t win, at least I tried,”

Swift said.

They will bring him up and Kelce too. Build, build, build, and when the truth comes out, they support Biden. Kelly cited a New York Times article that said “Biden aides are writing a wish list of potential successors, including endorsements for elected officials, social media influencers and his dream: superstar Taylor Swift.”

Newsmax host Greg Kelly has slammed Taylor Swift’s fans for “privileging” them, calling it a “sin”. Swift attended the AFC Championship Game in Baltimore on Sunday to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs advance to the Super Bowl.

“They really love this woman,” Kelly said. But I think they see it as promoting her as an idol. On Monday’s Greg Kelly Reports, the host said he likes some of Swift’s music but doesn’t want to be “a huge Taylor Swift fan.”

On Monday’s Greg Kelly Reports, the host said he likes some of Swift’s music but doesn’t want to be “a huge Taylor Swift fan.” He added: “I think this is a bit like idolatry. So I don’t like it.” Kelly also said she’s “over this new friendship” and called Kelce and Swift’s relationship a “talking idea.”

The leader also floated the theory that the Biden campaign would use the couple to support them in the presidential election. He added: “And maybe he can use all this popularity against MAGA and the Democrats.

In a poll conducted for Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, 18% of voters said they were “more likely” or “more likely” to vote for a candidate supported by Swift.

This election will include 8 million new voters in the US and a total of 41 million Gen Z voters, many of whom are influenced by celebrities and social media.

But 17% said they would be less likely to vote for a candidate backed by Swift, which may bode poorly for Democrat Joe Biden.

Kelce scored an NFL record en route to the victory. Kelce celebrates after scoring a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in the first quarter of the AFC Championship Game.

Keleigh Sperry and Cara Delevingne are also cheering on the Chiefs, and Kelce caught 11 passes for 116 yards against the Ravens.

After the game when the Chiefs punched their ticket to Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11, Swift was seen walking onto the field with Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed.

Finally, she went to Travis, lots of hugs and a few kisses in between.

The pop star will appear in a luxurious suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of Super Bowl LVIII.

However, the star may be quite tired, since, just a day earlier, she’ll be performing the last of three shows at the famous Tokyo Dome in Japan.

Kansas City will play the San Francisco 49ers after they overturned a 17-point deficit against the Detroit Lions to book their own place in Vegas.
