Popular radio host Anthony Gargano is out of the legal scope of former employer Beastly Media.
The former 97.5 The Fanatic host was hauled before the legal system when he joined start up PHLY Sport.
He was effectively initially suspended from working at All City Network’s Philadelphia startup PHLY Sports, for the six months, in October last year.
But in light of this latest ruling, whether this is no longer valid remains to be seen.
“The issues between the parties hav[e] been resolved," Judge Timothy Savage wrote in an order issued Jan. 25. As per court order the U.S. District Court in Philadelphia retains jurisdiction to enforce the settlement agreement, and the terms not been publicly disclosed.
Beasley Media filed suit in September 2023.
The lawsuit filed by Beasley Media Group has been dismissed "with prejudice," essentially meaning no party can re-initiate a similar case in federal court.
