LIV Golf Faces Credibility Challenge as They Misspell Jon Rahm’s Name in Press Release

LIV Golf is only starting to gain credibility, but basic errors could spell trouble.

In belated press release announcing the John Rahm’s team the organizers spelt the name of their biggest signing wrong, with ‘John’ instead of Jon.

Rahm signed with LIV for $300 million.

It may seem a simple mistake, but it is indicative of an organization that is still navigating its way through murky PR waters.

Not the greatest start for LIV who begin their 14 tournament completion on Friday at Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

And this faux pax is hot on the heels of their rival PGA tour signing a $3 billion deal with Strategic Sports Group.

They also got the name of his team wrong, but errors do occur and the right info is up now.

For the record Rahm’s team is Tyrrell Hatton, 19-year-old sensation Caleb Surratt and Kieran Vincent.
