There is another Belichick making moves in football with the University of Washington set to hire Steve.

Steve Belichick is set to be named as the new defensive coordinator

The son of the legendary former Patriots head coach Bill, he worked at new England for the past 12 years, starting there when he was 24 years old.

There is a New England connection with UW head coach Jedd Fisch a quarterback coach at the Patriots in 2020.

Belichick union started out as defensive assistant and moved to safeties and secondary coach, before adding linebackers to his cv.
