Sports personality Stephen A. Smith is known for his candid, direct, and outspoken analysis. On this occasion, it was former NFL star Damien Woody who was on the receiving end of Smith’s banter.
It was early in the morning and Smith already seemed irritated for having to wait off camera to join the Get Up on ESPN. That annoyance was exacerbated when the New York native caught a glimpse of his colleague Damien Woody’s shirt.
“Somebody needs to tell Damien Woody, Big Papi, this ain’t the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, I don’t know what the h*** you wearing this morning,” said Smith.
Stephen A continued to roast Woody with an X post later in the day stating “My big bro needs tips.”

Later in the day, ESPN commentator Domonique Foxworth had his retort for Stephen A. Smith.
“It’s clear that Stephen A. recognizes that he doesn’t have no style, cause he didn’t say, ‘I’m gonna help you.'” said Foxworth. “It suggests that Ryan needs to help Stephen A. out too.”

Foxworth was quick to note that Stephen A. Smith called on commentator Ryan Clark to provide Damien with the tips, instead of offering to help himself.
Woody’s blue full-sleeve Hawaiian shirt was unconventional. While he seemed to chuckle and laugh off the comments, Foxworth made it a point to defend Woody and call Smith out.
