In the upcoming Super Bowl 2024, scheduled for February 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers. However, there’s a twist in the plot involving Chief LB Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, whose attendance at the Super Bowl is uncertain.
Why? Well, Taylor Swift is all set to perform at the Tokyo Dome in Japan from February 7 to February 10, just days before the Super Bowl. The concern arises as to whether she can make it from Tokyo to Las Vegas in time for the big game.
Worry not, Swifties! The Embassy of Japan in the United States has stepped in to ease the concerns of Taylor Swift fans in both Tokyo and the U.S. They’ve assured everyone that Taylor Swift can perform in Tokyo and still comfortably reach Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
A statement shared on social media from the Embassy of Japan acknowledges the recent media reports about Taylor Swift’s travel plans. Despite the 12-hour flight and a 17-hour time difference, they confidently assure that if Taylor Swift departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert on February 10th, she should arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl kicks off.
“We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be ‘Fearless’ in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red,” a part of the statement read.

“Fearless,” a studio album by Taylor Swift, takes center stage in the Embassy of Japan’s statement as they knowingly include it to acknowledge the singer.
To highlight Taylor Swift’s commitment to the Chiefs, it’s worth mentioning that she attended her 12th Chiefs game of the season and witnessed a crucial victory.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 on January 28 in the AFC championship game, securing their spot in the 2024 Super Bowl.
