Reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes is all business as he prepares for his third Super Bowl appearance in five years. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has been an exemplary teammate and role model since joining the league in 2017 and is bringing that same professionalism with him to Nevada.
Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the USA and is littered with temptation on all corners. The bright lights can be alluring and players can sometimes find it hard to stay focused and on track.
With under a week to go until the Super Bowl, Mahomes’ message to his teammates was simple.
“This is a business trip. I told the guys that if we win I’ll bring everyone back to Vegas to celebrate,” said Patrick Mahomes to NFL Networks James Palmer.
That statement provides plenty of incentive for some of his teammates interested in a good time. If the Chiefs win, the quarterback promised to bring everyone back for a memorable celebration.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been the team to beat in the NFL over the last decade. Since head coach Andy Reid took the helm in 2013, the organization has never finished the regular season with a losing record. They have recorded fewer than 10 wins just once (2014) over that stretch.
Reid has been instrumental in turning this franchise around but Mahomes’ impact should not be understated. The 28-year-old has been a leader on and off the field and continues to set the standard for a team on the verge of building an NFL dynasty.
Mahomes and the Chiefs face a talented San Francisco 49ers team on Sunday and enter the game as slight underdogs. They will have to be at their best if they hope to become only the eighth franchise in NFL history to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles.
