“I’d expect Philly to make one to three trades” Amid Joel Embiid’s Knee Surgery, Philadelphia 76ers Explore Trade Options, reports NBA insider

The Philadelphia 76ers are currently standing in the season with a score of 30-19 and are occupying the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Joel Embiid has undergone knee surgery and will be reevaluated after "approximately four weeks" according to the club.

As there is hope of Embiid’s return the club could see itself getting involved in a trade.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst recently shed light on this matter in one of the episodes of "The Hoop Collective" podcast.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania had also recently shared on "Takeoff" podcast with John Clark that Embiid could miss six to eight weeks. The reporter further states that Embiid’s rehabilitation and recovery process could change the schedule as well.

According to Bleacher Report, Windhorst shared, "They are now operating in talks like he [Embiid] is going to come back, and hopefully for the playoffs. So I"d expect Philly to make one to three trades before Thursday afternoon. And I would also expect them to try—I"m not saying they"re going to accomplish this—I would expect them to try to acquire players that either have expiring contracts or that have next year"s salaries that are not fully guaranteed or that can easily be offloaded."

The trade involving the 76ers also depends on whether Embiid will be able to return or not in his full capacity. The 76ers have maintained the top spot when the squad has both Embiid and Tyrese Maxey at their full potential.

Daryl Morey, the president of basketball operations, could move further with the trade as it depends on the potential return of the Cameroonian sensation and seven-time NBA All-Star.

According to Yahoo Sports" Jake Fischer via BR, Bojan Bogdanović of the Detroit Pistons and Buddy Hield of the Indiana Pacers are the two prospects that are under the radar of the Philadelphia 76ers. The squad will next headlock with the Golden State Warriors, who are 22-25 for the season.
