Super Bowl 2024 Build-Up Marred by Controversy: Alleged Coyote Attack on NFL Player Sparks Rumors and Intrigue

The build-up to the 2024 Super Bowl has been filled with drama and chaos. The San Francisco 49ers supposedly have a makeshift practice field they are not happy with. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ father was arrested on Saturday and their coach Andy Reid was asked about a conspiracy theory surrounding the elections. Now we have rumors that an NFL player was attacked by a coyote in Las Vegas.

The incident apparently occurred on Sunday night at Lake Las Vegas according to the X account of Las Vegas Locally. The account has over 336,900 followers and the post already has over 4,500 likes and 6.1 million total views.

Fans are scouring the internet for who the mystery player could be but so far there is no concrete evidence.

According to a recent piece in The Sun, the Henderson Police denied reports of the attack stating “Our office has has no record or report of any incident involving a coyote nor a professional athlete.”

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs players are both staying at the Lake Las Vegas complex, a 320-acre reservoir in Henderson. The community is located about 25 miles away from the Allegiant Stadium which is set to host the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Coyote attacks are not uncommon in the Nevada desert and residents in Vegas are always to the possibility of one. Some of the players visiting the state, however, may want to be more alert as they prepare for the biggest game of the year.
