CJ Stroud, Texans quarterback is no stranger to the basketball court, a high school basketball player in Rancho Cucamonga, California, before going to Columbus, Ohio, to play football for the Buckeyes.

The Houston Texans’ QB is now an NFL Offensive Player of the Year favorite after throwing for 4,108 passing yards and 23 touchdowns in 2023.

Seemingly his talent with a ball is far-fetched as the rookie quarterback is going to Indianapolis this weekend to participate in the NBA All-Star Celebrity game.

Smith’s team and Stroud will face current ESPN host and NFL Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe’s roster in Indianapolis at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Stroud is one of two active NFL players added to the celebrity game, joining Dallas Cowboys All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons on Team Shannon.
