The whole Brittany Mahomes Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover thing is blowing up! And, NFL fans are losing their minds over it.
So, Brittany, who’s married to Kansas City Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes is making her debut in the 2024 SI Swimsuit issue. According to MJ Day, the editor-in-chief at SI Swim, they picked her because she’s a modern-day powerhouse. They’re all about her journey, tenacity, and unyielding determination, apparently.
But, as soon as Barstool Sports dropped the news of her SI Swimsuit feature on X (formerly known as Twitter), the haters came out in full force. People are not holding back, and it’s a mixed bag of emotions out there.

Responding to the backlash, Brittany shared a red cut-out swimsuit look from her photoshoot on Instagram with a message to her 1.8 million followers.
She mentioned the importance of staying true to oneself despite receiving both love and hate. “Don’t let any of that define you,” she advised, concluding with an encouraging note to “KEEP SHINING and being YOU,” accompanied by star emojis.

Expressing her surprise and gratitude for the opportunity, Brittany spoke with SI Swim about the unexpected gig.
She expressed thankfulness, honor, and excitement, stating:
“I never in a million years thought this would happen.”
Brittany added:
“I want women to feel empowered to always be yourself, love yourself, and feel confident in whatever you do, and I think SI Swimsuit does, too.”
