Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has reportedly been the centre of attention due to his inclusion in the WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns. The wrestling fans expressed frustration over him taking the spotlight from Cody Rhodes, as he was supposed to challenge Reigns.
There have been promotions for the match but other details will be revealed later. However, the wrestling community was clear in their desire that it would be Rhodes who would participate in the match, according to the story arc presented.
The Rock has also called Cody supporters as “Cody Crybabies” which has led to him garnering more attention. He has also shared his sentiments regarding the ongoing issue.
According to Fox Sports, he shared, “I love Cody. I love his passionate fans. Then there’s the other passionate fans of Cody, and they’re called the Cody crybabies. These are grown-ass men (starts typing) Cody’s gotta finish his story. He has to finish his story now, it’s like wait a second, hold on. Dad, you want to go outside and play catch with me? Not now, Cody’s gotta finish it and I’m upset.”
He further continued, “At the end of the day, look. You’ve got the Cody crybabies and you have the Cody fans and then you have Cody himself and there’s a clear distinction between the three. Those Cody crybabies, the ones with every 10 tweets they’re shoving a chicken McNugget in their mouth. For every 20 tweets they’re shoving two McNuggets up their ass, The Rock says this. All you gotta do is sit back, know your role, shut your mouth, and enjoy the ride that The Rock is gonna take your candy asses on.”
“So hashtag that. Hashtag shut your b**** asses up. Hashtag Cody Crybabies. That’s the fun part of what we do. That’s wrestling. That’s pro wrestling. That’s WWE, and it’s awesome, and I can’t wait for this afternoon at T-Mobile.”
However, recently, “The Rock” faced backlash from the crowd in Las Vegas, where he was doing his press conference for WWE.

Nick Sortor has recently shared in one of his posts, which stated, “CROWD IN VEGAS BOOs “THE ROCK” DEMANDING HE FOLLOW THROUGH WITH AID FOR MAUI
Oprah and Dwayne @TheRock Johnson promised TENS OF MILLIONS to the victims of the Maui fires, but many victims still have not seen a dime.
It looks like the audience is fully AMERICA FIRST and is demanding The Rock and Oprah follow through with their commitment to take care of the people of Lahaina.
The crowd started booing and chanting, “MAUI! MAUI! MAUI!”
MAKE IT HAPPEN!”
I typically refrain from responding to toxic, false clickbait garbage like this because I hate dignifying bullshit with a response, but when you use Hawaii’s tragic events to draw attention to yourself I won’t stay quiet.

To which Johnson replied, “I typically refrain from responding to toxic, false clickbait garbage like this because I hate dignifying bullshit with a response, but when you use Hawaii’s tragic events to draw attention to yourself I won’t stay quiet.
This moment you’re referring to is from our @WWE press conference this past Thursday where I turned “heel” – wrestling parlance for bad guy. I’m playing it up with our crowd as they boo. It’s what we do in our WWE universe, and we all love every second of it.
For the record:
Our People’s Fund of Maui has already DELIVERED over $50 MILLION DOLLARS to over 8,000 survivors who were affected by the fires, and I’m grateful to the bone that we’ve been the primary funders.
Hawaii is where I grew up, where I raise my children throughout the year and where my ancestors are buried. These are my Polynesian people and these are OUR American people. You can’t imagine how much they are still struggling daily to put their lives back together and take care of each other. Our Poly American people are as resilient as people come, and they will raise and get back on their feet.
Nick, instead of posting bullshit like this that you know is false – I encourage you to post something positive for Hawaii, for our Polynesian American people. Or actually take positive action and come to Hawaii to help out in an uplifting way.
I’m in Hawaii now, and I guarantee you, you’ll get great content that can actually make a difference in people’s lives.
Genuinely.
Let’s put our energy and our online platforms into lifting people up. Acknowledging the good things that people do. Raising awareness for the suffering in ways that can effectively help. It takes so much effort to be negative, and create and spread bullshit – but when you spread positivity, kindness, and lead by example you can really impact lives.
I’m sorry to all our Poly/Hawaiian ohana of Maui, for shining light on this toxicity as you struggle through tough times – I always try to be Na’au Pono.
Love U.
Aloha,
DJ”
Johnson was clear in expressing his opposition to the remarks while sharing a lengthy post on Platform X, formerly Twitter. He has also revealed the story arc revolving around Rhodes sharing that as “the fun part” of professional wrestling. He was straightforward in his message to the supporters: to enjoy what was happening and not to surpass the fact that entertainment is also part of the show.
