In 2020, Forbes made a move to the Milwaukee Bucks, contributing to their 2021 NBA Finals victory with a career-high 30-point game. His journey continued with stints at the Spurs, Nuggets, and Timberwolves.

After swimming through the legal troubles from February 2023 to July 2023, Forbes made a comeback and rejoined the Milwaukee Bucks in December 2023.
