“I kind of blacked out, for real,” – Chiefs match winning WR Mecole hardman can’t remember much after sealing epic win over 49ers in Superbowl

Chiefs’ wide receiver Mecole Hardman started the season with the Jets and predicted he would play the 49ers in the Superbowl, and it turned out he did, only in the colors of Kansas City.

Hardman caught the match winning touchdown as the Chiefs beat the 49ers in overtime.

Hardman said he can’t remember much after catching that 3-yard pass from MVP Patrick Mahomes.

“I kinda don’t remember it in a sense, I kind of blacked out, for real,” Hardman told TMZ Tuesday. “Like I knew I caught the ball, man, and we won the game, but after that it was kind of blank. The magnitude of the game was kind of just overwhelming, but after that it was just nothing but celebration out there.”

The WR spent four years at the Chiefs, and this is his third Superbowl win, and he must be counting his lucky stars he was traded in October from a struggling Jets team.

Talking about his favorite Superbowl title he said, “They’re all special, but I don’t think they ever get old,” he said. “It’s better after each one, I didn’t get to play in last year’s Bowl because of injury, and this year just being able to play in it and the roller coaster I was on, so a little bit more emotional for this one, but just happy to get another one.”
