“Cheating, that’s all they been doing” Clippers Coach Tyronn Lue Ejected Amid Controversial Officiating, Still Clinch Win Over Warriors

The Los Angeles Clippers are 36-17 for the season and are impressively occupying third place in the Western Conference. They recently subdued the Golden State Warriors with a concluding score of 125-130.

However, during the fourth quarter, the head coach of the Clippers, Tyronn Lue, faced ejection. The head coach collected his second technical foul and was not content with the situation.

According to Ahn Fire Digital, the head coach shared, "Where the refs at now? Cheating, that’s all they been doing. … Where James [Williams] at, the referee? I wanna kick him in the mouth. Where’s James at?"

The Clippers were able to cover the fourth quarter and subsequently defeated the Warriors. The last quarter had a score of 28-44. This was the last game for the Clippers, as they will now have their All-Star break.

Lue was furious with the way the officiating was done during the game and as per the report, the Clippers obtained 37 free throws and the Warriors ended the game with 18 free throws. The differences in free throw attempts are one of the factors that can be linked to the success of the Clippers as well.

However, despite the absence of Kawhi Leonard and later the head coach himself, the Clippers squad handled the game incredibly well. James Harden, the ten-time NBA All-Star, posted a team-high score of 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Paul George added 24 points to the scoreboard, including 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Norman Powell ended his game with 21 points. Russell Westbrook was able to score 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, helping the Clippers to their victory.

The Clippers, after coming off the All-Star break, will face the Oklahoma City Thunder and then the Memphis Grizzlies. The squad will be on the lookout for maintaining their lead and pushing to see if they can reach ahead in the season with their prominent talents.
