The Washington Wizards are 9-45 for the season and are in fourteenth place in the Eastern Conference. They were recently defeated by the New Orleans Pelicans with a concluding score of 133-126.

Wizards shooting guard Jordan Poole had the ball in the last thirty seconds of the game and tried to cross Herb Jones. However, during that play, Poole committed a violation as he carried the ball.

Poole was selected in the 2019 NBA Draft in the first round as the 28th overall pick. The NBA champion of 2021 played from 2019 to 2023 with the Golden State Warriors. The carry Poole committed garnered him attention, as it was blatantly seen by the announcers, Joel Meyers and Antonio Daniels.

Meyers shared, “that was a running back, that was cradling the football” regarding Poole’s actions. Poole in the game posted 19 points, 3 steals, 6 assists and five rebounds. His average is 15 points per game, and his shooting percentage from the field is 39.9 percent, and from the three, it is 29 per cent.
