John Schreiber, the former right hand relief pitchers from the Boston Red Sox is officially a Kansas City player and said an emotional farewell on social media.
“Thank you to the fans for showing me so much love and support over the last few years. Boston will always have a special place in my heart.”
Schreiber played for the Detroit Tigers before moving to the Red Sox three years ago.
He was traded to the Royals in return for minor league pitcher David Sandlin.
