“The most sensitive guy I’ve ever seen” Bart Scott Calls Out Micah Parsons’ Sensitivity, Questions Its Impact on Cowboys’ Performance

The NFL world witnessed a candid critique as ESPN’s famed personality, Bart Scott, labeled the Dallas Cowboys linebacker, Micah Parsons, as “the most sensitive guy I’ve ever seen.”

This critique isn’t merely confined to Parsons’ characteristics. Scott sees it as a potential reason affecting the Cowboys’ on-field performance.

Parsons has often been the center of media attention, whether it’s his assertive nature during media exchanges or his significant role in the Cowboys’ on-field strategies.

His recent comments on Dallas’ apparent fatigue during the playoffs sparked a round of debates, and this time, he has found a critic in Bart Scott.

Not very long ago, the Dallas Cowboys suffered a 48-32 loss against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC wildcard round.

Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, attributing the loss to the team’s fatigue, was met with a counter from Micah Parsons, dismissing fatigue as an excuse and pointing at the lack of culture and identity in the Cowboy’s camp.

Parsons emphasized that every opponent competes with Dallas with a Super Bowl level intensity.

During a morning discussion on ESPN’s show “Get Up,” Bart Scott expressed his views on this matter.

The Pro-Bowler suggested that Parsons’ readiness to counter criticism publicly could be directly contributing to the ‘issue’ Parsons himself was underlining.

“Attitude reflects leadership,” Scott said. “Who’s the leader … on that defensive side? … Ray Lewis ain’t letting no team show up and lay no dud. Ed Reed ain’t letting no team show up and lay no dud. Darrelle Revis ain’t showing up letting nobody lay no dud.

“He’s going to perform and play with such an energy that’s going to make everybody else play.”

Despite securing noteworthy accolades such as Pro Bowler, All-Pro, and a top-three finish in NFL Defensive Player of the Year in his initial three professional seasons, the labeling of Parsons as “sensitive” by critics, led by Scott, overshadows the 24-year-old’s accomplishments.

Scott believes that Parsons’ so-called sensitivity resonates with his leadership style, which could be a significant factor hindering Dallas from securing a win in the postseason.

“He’s lacking leadership,” Scott said. “He doesn’t understand what winning in this league is all about. Is he a great player? Yes, but just because you’re a great player doesn’t mean you’re a great leader.

“He needs to go to a leadership school and learn how to lead by example, quit talking so much and being so damn sensitive.”

Bart Scott has unequivocally pointed out Parsons, labeling him as a sensitive player whose actions are impacting Dallas’ identity and culture.

“You’re a linebacker – that’s supposed to be a tough-guy spot,” Scott said. “He’s the most sensitive guy I’ve ever seen. He responds to everything. Get off social media, quit tweeting, quit talking about responding, and go about your business.

“That’s how you change the culture.”

However, this statement is stirring up heated debates among fans and critics alike, with many standing in support of Parsons’ leadership style.
