NFL Insider Dan Graziano was shocked to the core when Mike Tannenbaum suggested Russell Wilson as cover for Aaron Rodgers at the Jets.
Bart Scott was also moved to chime in, as the idea was unequivocally rebuked.
Tannenbaum said the Jets must pay the 36-year-old Wilson a million bucks to resurrect his career.
Wilson was signed as the 75th pick in 2013 and went on to establish a good career at the Seattle Seahawks before a move to the Broncos.

He is a Superbowl winner when the Seahawks ironically smashed the Broncos 43-8.
“No one will give him a starting job, he will have to be a backup somewhere,” said Tannenbaum.
