The Naismith College Player of the Year and star point guard of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Caitlin Clark, has made history by surpassing the NCAA all-time women’s scoring record. The record was previously set by prominent Las Vegas Aces star, Kelsey Plum.

After setting the record, she also became Fanatics’ top-selling NIL athlete, according to a report by Front Office Sports. Apart from setting the all-time scoring record, Clark has also triumphed over Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes, in total sales regarding the selling of athlete-branded college gear.

According to Fanatics via Front Office Sports, Clark’s winning gear included a T-shirt with the motto, “You break it, you own it”. The slogan was promoted by Nike on social media after Clark achieved an incredible record.

An autographed Topps trading card celebrating Clark’s scoring feat was sold out in less than ten minutes, according to FOS. These cards on eBay are listed for as much as $1,750.
